List Of Largest U.S. Staffing Firms - SIA Report

Yesterday, the Staffing Industry Analysts published their list of the List Of Largest U.S. Staffing Firms.

“Added together, the 100 companies on the list of U.S. largest staffing firms represented 53 percent of the U.S. market, based on their 2011 revenues,” said Timothy Landhuis, research analyst at Staffing Industry Analysts.

Unfortunately the full list is behind a pay wall. However, the SIA did publish the top 5 companies. They are as follows:

1. Allegis Group, 2011 U.S. staffing revenue $7.06 billion, market share 6.0 percent
2. Adecco, 2011 U.S. staffing revenue $4.49 billion, market share 3.8 percent
3. Randstad Holding, 2011 U.S. staffing revenue $4.19 billion, market share 3.6 percent
4. ManpowerGroup, 2011 U.S. staffing revenue $4.09 billion, market share 3.5 percent
5. Kelly Services, 2011 U.S. staffing revenue $3.15 billion, market share 2.7 percent

Temporary Physician Staffing Trends: Survey Data from Staff Care

This week, Staff Care - the locum tenes division of AMN Healthcare - released the results of a recent survey regarding temporary physician staffing trends.

The data is from from 2011 and has several interesting findings.

Locum tenens physicians remain a commonly used resource for most healthcare facility administrators. For the fifth year in a row, at least 75% of healthcare facility administrators indicated they had used locum tenens physicians to supplement their existing staffs sometime in the previous 12 months.
